Research topics include: modern German literature; 19th-century German literature; German social and cultural history; literary, cultural and social theory; gender studies and women's studies in German and Dutch; modern German politics and society historical linguistics; Luxembourghish and Luxembourg studies; syntax, pragmatics, discourse analysis, spoken language; 2nd language acquisition; modern Dutch studies.

Entry requirements

Good Honours degree in German or Dutch, or combined degree with substantial German or Dutch component required.
