Learn all about arts and leisure management in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. This course is a collaboration between the Management School and the Department of Music.
Overall IELTS grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in each part, or equivalent. English language requirements- Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or equivalent.
Core modules: introduction to the creative and cultural industries; cultural marketing; research methods; music management: planning; music management: events; music management: environments; dissertation (music management). Optional modules: heritage, place and community; art fairs, festivals and exhibitions; fundraising management: sponsorship, philanthropy and the state; managing creative brands; managing museums and cultural heritage sites.
You�ll be assessed on your coursework and a dissertation.
University and faculty funding is available each year. The closing date for applications is mid-January. The department has a small number of tuition studentships available. The closing date for these is the end of April. You can also apply for a small grant to support your postgraduate research project.
