Advanced Emergency Care

This course is aimed at doctors in emergency medicine as well as experienced staff from other backgrounds, such as senior nurse practitioners and experienced paramedics. It builds on ScHARR's international reputation for research in the field of pre-hospital and emergency care. Please see our University website for the most up-to-date course information.

Entry requirements

MSc: 2:1 honours degree - we'll still consider your application if you don't meet this requirement but you have relevant experience and training (for example if you are a paramedic with relevant experience and training). English language requirements: Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.

Assessment methods

The course is taught entirely online and is a mixture of online learning, independent study and online clinical demonstrations. Assessment is by coursework and project work.
