Energy Engineering with Industrial Management

This course is for graduates and established professionals pursuing careers in energy management. We blend theory with hands-on experience, giving you the level of insight and understanding you need to be a great manager. We also cover: industrial applications; industry-relevant applications of engineering analysis; working in teams; independent working and learning.

Entry requirements

A good honours degree in science, technology and engineering. English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each component.

Course modules

Core modules: introduction to fuel and energy; applied energy engineering; marketing management; innovation management; a major research project in energy engineering. Optional modules: oil and gas origins and usage; energy from biomass and waste; low carbon energy and technology (renewables); nuclear reactor engineering.

Assessment methods

Exams; coursework; dissertation.
