Research students take a course which provides them with the skills, competencies and wider subject based training necessary to complete their research. Main research groups: cognitive systems; computational systems biology; computer graphics; machine learning; natural language processing; neurocomputing and robotics; speech and hearing; verification and testing.
A good UK Honours degree or an equivalent overseas qualification in a relevant discipline (not necessarily computer science).
Assessment is by research project.
