Evolution and Behaviour

Our MRes in Evolution and Behaviour provides a unique opportunity to learn from leaders in the field about evolutionary, genetic and functional bases of behaviour, adaptation and speciation, applied to a range of study systems from birds to fish, insects to snails.

Entry requirements

A 1st or a 2.1 in a biology-related subject. English langauge requirements: overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: advanced trends in biology; advanced biological analysis; research and study skills in biology; tutorials; literature review; research project.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include: coursework and a dissertation.
