Architecture and Landscape Architecture
BA Architecture and Landscape Architecture combined degree, or BA Architecture and a separate BA Landscape Architecture, 2:1 or equivalent, from a RIBA/ARB/LI-approved institution, along with one year in practice. You should have RIBA Part 1 or equivalent. Students whose 1st language is not English require an overall IELTS grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or equivalent.
Design 1, 2 and 3; Theory and Research; Environment and Technology 1 and 2; Management and Practice 1 and 2, Urban Landscape Planning; Professional Practice, Law and Contracts; Design Research Study; Live Projects; Design Report; Special Project.
Each module is assessed individually, either by formal written examination or by coursework. To qualify as an architect, students produce at least 1 comprehensive design project. Students also have the opportunity to work with local or regional groups on a real-life challenge through the Live Projects initiative.
