These courses allow you to develop your computing and information-related skills and to enhance your learning with the latest academic thinking. You�ll acquire valuable transferable skills such as presentation and report writing. We can also help you develop leadership and management capabilities.
Applicants require at least two years� relevant work experience and a first degree in information systems. If you have less than two years� work experience please contact us to discuss your work experience. If your first degree is in another subject, you�ll also need a relevant professional qualification. If you don�t have a first degree, but you have other qualifications and relevant work experience, you may be considered for the PGDip or PGCert. Please contact us for more information. English language requirements: IELTS grade of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.
Core modules: information systems modelling; information systems project management; professional issues; dissertation (MSc only). Optional modules: Choose from our wide range including: advanced java programming; foundations of object-oriented programming; information systems change management; information systems and the information society; information systems in organisations; database design; human computer information interaction; data mining and visualisation. You can also choose up to three independent study modules.
You�ll be assessed using a wide variety of methods including essays, reports, small projects, in-class tests, presentations, posters, group work and a research-based dissertation.Learning environment.
