Information Management

These courses reinforce your theoretical and practical skills, and enable you to review your professional practice in the context of current thinking. You�ll develop new skills and learn how to apply research-based approaches to real-world problems.You�ll acquire valuable transferable skills such as presentation and report writing. We can also help you develop leadership and management capabilities.

Entry requirements

You�ll need at least a 2.2 in any subject. English language requirements- Overall IELTS grade of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.

Course modules

Core modules: research methods and dissertation preparation; information and knowledge management; dissertation (MSc only). Optional modules: Choose from our wide range including: information systems project management e-business and e-commerce; designing usable websites; information governance and ethics; information systems change management; research data management. You can also choose up to three independent study modules.

Assessment methods

You�ll be assessed using a wide variety of methods including essays, reports, small projects, in-class tests, presentations, posters, group work and a research-based dissertation.
