A comprehensive course in general management, with an emphasis on understanding and managing complex organisations. The course covers all aspects of an organisation's activities, from managing people and finances to strategic planning, operations and marketing. On the Company Project module, you'll work as part of a team on a real-world problem for a client, working with an external organisation. We also offer you the chance to spend summer at another leading university overseas.

Entry requirements

A minimum 2:1 or an approved professional qualification. English language requirements: All of our courses require an overall IELTS grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component or equivalent.

Course modules

Core modules: managing people in organisations; management economics; accounting and financial management; marketing; operations and supply chain management; management and organisational theory; strategic management; management inquiry; company project.

Assessment methods

Individual assignments, group projects, end-of-semester examinations and a dissertation.
