International Management and Marketing
This course bridges the gap between the two disciplines of management and marketing. You'll get a good grounding in each subject and, most importantly, you'll learn about how they interact. On graduation, you become an Affiliate Post-Graduate Member of the CIM (ACIM).
You can apply to do a project-based dissertation, working with an external organisation. You could also spend the summer at another leading university overseas. Recent dissertation projects include a feasibility study and business plan for a Sheffield-based product management organisation and a marketing project for a company in the care sector.
Minimum 2.1 in any subject or an approved professional qualification. English language requirements: an overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6 in all components
Core modules: marketing management; contemporary marketing practice; global marketing; international consumer behaviour; marketing research; contemporary Chinese business and management; international management; strategic management; international business strategy; dissertation.
Individual assignments, group projects, end-of-semester examinations and a dissertation.
