Business Administration (Public Service Management)
The programme of study introduces innovative business theory in a practical context. You will learn how to integrate cutting-edge research and practice across all key business areas to achieve business transformation, whether you work in a public or private sector organisation. During the course, you will develop key leadership skills such as creativity, innovation, collaboration and problem solving. The course is grounded in principles that underpin business today and will give you a fresh strategic approach to the issues managers face.
A minimum 2.2 Honours degree from a UK university, or recognised international equivalent qualification, and usually 2 years� relevant work experience (minimum 1 year). International applicants will need a good command of English at the equivalent of an IELTS score of 6.5.
Modules: Leadership and management theories; strategic financial management; strategic analysis; strategic operations management; managing professional development; research methods; management project; public policy and innovation; partnership, service, improvement and delivery.
You will be assessed through written assignments, examinations and/or project work. The course involves the completion of a significant business research project, developing your communication and consulting skills.
