Business Accounting

This course is for students with little or no accounting background. It aims to give the student business experience beyond just financial accounting and gain insight into how the different areas of accounting relate to the business world.

Entry requirements

Degrees in business or accounting will usually be accepted by CIMA as equivalent to the certificate in business accounting and will allow exemptions from its papers. The AAT qualification provides exemptions from all certificate papers. There is a flexible entry policy at the certificate level, although English language competency is required.

Course modules

Fundamentals of management accounting; fundamentals of financial accounting; fundamentals of business mathematics; fundamentals of business economics; fundamentals of ethics, corporate governance and business law.
