Dispute Resolution

This course is focused on domestic arbitration in England and Wales and is designed for engineering, surveying, construction or business graduates who wish to gain skills in avoiding, managing and resolving disputes in the workplace.

Entry requirements

A minimum 2.2 Honours degree in a relevant subject, or an appropriate professional qualification. The course welcomes international applicants and requires an English level of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Law of obligations; background to arbitration, skills and analysis; alternative dispute resolution skills and practice; dissertation or award writing. Optional modules: construction laws and practice; commercial property law and practice; business law; integrative project planning and management.

Assessment methods

Assessment through assignments, coursework, case studies, role plays and examinations.
