Arts Practice (Art, Health and Well-Being)

The course is of interest to artists, arts or health managers, community workers and teachers, plus those with an interest in the relationship between arts and health; it aims to support and develop innovative practice and research in this vibrant and expanding sector, so learners are encouraged to engage in creative dialogue, collaboration and interdisciplinary working.

Entry requirements

A good undergraduate degree in a related discipline such as art or design or a significant body of practical work and/or written work in the field of the arts, that demonstrates competencies equivalent to a Bachelors degree. Applicants with appropriate qualifications in related fields such as teaching, art training, arts administration, occupational therapy, arts therapies, health sector management, arts and disability, social services, community work, youth work, or a period of professional employment in the field, will also be considered.

Modules include: Critical studies in the arts; arts practice 1; arts praxis; professional practice in the arts; major arts project.
