Entry requirements

1st or upper 2nd Class Honours degree from a UK university; School of Management PGCert Business Administration; or equivalent overseas/professional qualification in an appropriate subject.For the full time MBA: at least 3 years post-qualification work experience; for the part time MBA: at least 5 years managerial-level work experience; students must be at least 25 years of age at enrolment.

Course modules

The MBA is divided into 4 parts: Part 1: Key business skills (core); key management skills and effective leadership; organisations in global context; contemporary marketing; quality and operations management; accounting (measuring and managing performance); corporate finance; strategy; managing People for performanc; decision modelling and analysis. Part 2: 2 options from the range available e.g. supply management; project management; marketing communications. Part 3: application of management skills (core). Group project facilitated by four themes of a leader�s role: the creator, the investigator, the decision maker and the champion. Part 4: dissertation.

Assessment methods

Essays, case studies, reports, group projects, presentations, examinations and a dissertation.
