Marketing Management

This course is designed for recent graduates who wish to pursue a marketing career, but have not previously studied marketing or management in any depth: it offers detailed understanding of marketing functions, in terms of delivering both corporate and customer value. Students develop relevant interpersonal skills alongside a critical understanding of the competitive environment and the demands this places on organisations; following the taught part of the programme, the 3-month project may be practical or academic in nature.

Entry requirements

1st or Upper 2nd Class Honours degree from a UK university, or overseas equivalent, or a professional qualification; applications are assessed on individual merit; some quantitative study is required; international students may require evidence of English language proficiency.

Course modules

Introduction to marketing; integrated marketing communications; customer led marketing; measuring marketing effectiveness; dissertation; negotiation skills; strategic marketing decisions; data based marketing; delivering the value proposition; integrated marketing communications.

Assessment methods

Essays, case studies, coursework, examinations, dissertation.
