Design (Advertising Design Management)

Students learn how advertising is created from the advertising pitch, through to target audience identification and segmentation, the creative strategy, creative briefing, and the appraisal of creative ideas and campaign evaluation; they build a critical awareness of the advertising industry and the challenges it faces today, and build an understanding of how other communications' tools work.

Entry requirements

Honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent qualification or experience.

Course modules

Core modules: Design 1 and 2; Research skills; Final Project Optional modules: Contemporary issues 4; Entrepreneurship; Digital marketing communications; Global marketing; Design: Interpreting the Language of Design.
