Our extensive research expertise in education practice means you will study in the company of internationally respected academics. Modules provide an overview of current and potential developments to support teaching and learning and opportunities to engage with a critical review of innovative and inclusive practices in education. There may be opportunities to personalise aspects of study.
Entry requirements
MSc: UK Bachelors degree with upper-second class honours or higher, and ideally work experience in a related field.
Course modules
Typical modules include: Learning and Teaching; Education Research: Practice and Methods; Understanding Education Research; Inclusive Practices in Education; Dissertation; Investigating Innovations in Learning and Teaching; Globalisation and Education Policy; The Social context of education and lifelong learning.
Assessment methods
Assessed by one or two assignments totalling the equivalent of 4000 words. You will be required Assessment methods may include: Essays; Oral/electronic presentations; Posters; Authored materials (e.g. an audio or video podcast, a learning resource or educational game).
