This dynamic and engaging MSc offers a contemporary perspective on project management and draws on current theories and practices that will prepare you for success in this fast-growing profession. This evidence-based masters degree draws on the latest research and professional practice to ensure your learning is up-to-date. You can also gain hands-on experience by planning on a real-life project as part of the Process module. You will be exposed to the latest professional issues through guest lectures and engagement with professional bodies including the opportunity to take part in a unique Project Management competition with APM. Previous graduate destinations include The Oxford Group, Dassault Syste`mes, Finning South America, Glaxy Futures and Costco.

Entry requirements

MSc: A UK bachelor's degree with second class honours or higher (or equivalent overseas qualification) in a subject with some element of qualitative (essay-based) study. Applicants with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.

Core/Compulsory modules: Project Management: People and Organisations; Project Management: Processes; Project Risk Management; Decision Making and Analysis in Projects; Dissertation Optional modules: Business Ethics; Accounting and Control; Managing within a Global Context; Systems Thinking; Consultancy Skills; Problem Structuring; Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and New Business Venturing; Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence; Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods; International and Comparative Human Resource Management.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods will include individual or group coursework, group presentations, exams and a dissertation.
