The Integrated PhD is a four year programme consisting of one year of taught modules and three years of independent research leading to a PhD.

Entry requirements

PhD with Integrated Study: First- or upper second-class degree and normally masters at merit level*, or an equivalent standard in other qualifications approved by the University, in a cognate discipline.

Course modules

Core modules: Contemporary Security Challenges; Security Theory; Foundations of Cyber Security; Principles of Risk Management Optional modules: four from a wide range in Politics and International Relations and Social Sciences Plus dissertation.
