Sustainable Infrastructure Systems

The 4-year integrated PhD programme (first year similar to a taught Masters with some research components, followed by 3 years of full-time research) provides comprehensive transferable, technical and leadership skills training. Each student will tailor their programme of learning so as to deepen their technical understanding and prepare them for the challenges of undertaking cutting edge interdisciplinary research in the Energy, Water and Transportation sectors.

Entry requirements

PhD with Integrated Study: First or upper second-class degree or equivalent.

Course modules

Year one is comparable to a taught masters course. Years two to four involve full-time research on your PhD research topic.
