University of Southampton
Upper second class honours degree (2:1 or equivalent) in relevant engineering, science or technology subject. All applicants for the conversion degree in civil engineering will need to demonstrate their competence at mathematics or physics. Those candidates with relevant employment experience will be considered if they do not meet the requirements. Applications are assessed individually, and any candidates who do not match the standard profile but who have appropriate academic qualifications and/or industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Compulsory modules: Understanding Civil Engineering (for non-civil engineering graduates); Data Analysis and Experimental Methods for Civil and Environmental Engineers
Optional modules: further module options are available.
