Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management

This is an English-taught international Master's programme offered by a consortium of five European universities: Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway; Polytechnic University of Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain; Technical University of Delft, Netherlands; City University London, UK; and University of Southampton, UK. Students study in two or three different countries depending on their individual track of study.

Entry requirements

Good Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in civil or environmental engineering or oceanography, geography, geology or the environmental and physical sciences. Applications are assessed on an individual basis and candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Course modules

There are five specialist tracks: Arctic marine coastal engineering; marine operations and management; environment and management; coastal engineering; engineering and environment. Students on tracks 3, 4 and 5 attend the University of Southampton.
