Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care

This interdisciplinary course has been designed to develop your independent and critical thinking skills enabling you to constructively question healthcare policy and practice and open to clinicians and non-clinicians.

Entry requirements

First- or upper second-class degree in health or social care; relevant experience/qualifications may be considered.

Course modules

Core: Leading Others, Self Leadership, Strategic Management, Research methods for Evidence Based Practice.
Optional: Governance in Action, Healthcare Informatics, Principles of coaching.

Assessment methods

Assessment is through written assignments, reports, interpretation of case studies and peer assessment, as well as individual and group presentations.
