Advanced Clinical Practice

This programme will meet your needs if you are an experienced nurse, midwife or allied healthcare practitioner who is looking to further develop your practice and/or prepare for a clinical practice role at a senior level. This flexible programme offers choice of standard pathways that includes three option modules or one of nine named pathways focused on a particular aspect of clinical practice.

Entry requirements

Lower second-class degree or equivalent; registration with a professional body; at least two years' relevant post-registration clinical experience.

Course modules

Core: Decision Making for Advanced Clinical Practice Or Diagnostic Assessment and Decision Making, Research Methods for Evidence Based Practice, Transition to Advanced Practice (Standard, Children & Young People, Critical Care and Midwifery Pathways), Dissertation.
