This course offers an accelerated route to the necessary qualifications for a licence to practise physiotherapy in the UK; it uses a guided discovery model of learning, reinforced by clinical placements; the aims of the course have been closely matched to the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework; the course consists of core modules, a clinical placement (students must complete more than 1000 hours), and a research paper.
Candidates need a 2.1 Honours degree (or higher) awarded within the last 3 years in a relevant subject. Candidates' 1st degree must also have had a research training component and they will have completed anundergraduate research study and will have written this up.
