Ceramic and Lithic Analysis for Archaeologists

This course includes scientific and socially-oriented research, with intensive practical teaching integrating theory and methodology: it provides an entry to commercial archaeological ceramics and lithics analysis, or to further academic research.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent.

Course modules

Ceramic and lithic projects for archaeologists; principles of ceramic and lithic archaeology; research skills; plus 2 optional modules from: archaeological petrology; ceramics and lithics in context; dissertation.
