Modern Languages

This programme is suitable for students who already have an appropriate UK Master's or equivalent qualification. It is a thesis-only route which has no taught courses. The MPhil/ PhD route is available in all areas of modern languages research, including applied linguistics, English language and transnational studies.

Entry requirements

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree, Master's or equivalent in a relevant subject; other qualifications may be considered.
