Governance and Policy

This ESRC-recognised programme enables you to study processes of governance and policymaking while receiving rigorous and extensive training in social science research methods. Successful ESRC-funded students will be eligible for a further three years� funding for PhD research.

Entry requirements

1st or Upper 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent.

Course modules

Core modules: Governance and policy; philosophy of social science research; eesearch design and practice; qualitative methods 1; quantitative methods 1; plus 2 from qualitative methods 2; quantitative methods 2 or survey methods. Optional modules: 2 from a wide range in social sciences.
