The course is broadly based with flexibility for students to choose from a wide range of modules. Educational aims of the programme include introducing modern chemical science concepts and techniques, exploring further advanced research led topics through a range of option modules and to equip students with a range of analytical, critical, and communication skills. This MSc programme is designed for those students and professionals who already have a degree in chemistry or an allied subject.
An Honours degree in chemistry or an allied subject, normally at UK 2.1 or above, or equivalent.
9 months of written examinations and coursework followed by a 15,000-word dissertation in the final 3 months.
