Artificial Intelligence

The MSc in Artificial Intelligence is an advanced research-led course in the study of artificial intelligence, developing students' skills in logic, constraint programming, language processing, machine learning and neural networks.

Entry requirements

Honours degree in computer science, equivalent to a UK 2.1 or above. All applicants whose 1st language is not English should be fluent in written and oral English. Preferred credentials are IELTS 7; TOEFL: paper based 600; computer based 250; internet based100.

Course modules

In semester 1 students take artificial intelligence principles and artificial intelligence practice, followed by either constraint programming or language and computation in semester 2. Other modules can be selected from the general MSc portfolio.

Assessment methods

A dissertation/project of up to 15,000 words.
