The course is aimed at individuals who have a strong quantitative background and possess (or are about to obtain) a good degree that contains a significant statistical element, with the intention of developing these skills to a higher level. This programme permits a wide range of advanced module choices across the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
An undergraduate 2.1 degree, or equivalent, with a significant mathematical element. All applicants whose 1st language is not English must provide evidence of competence in written and spoken English.
9 months of coursework and a supervised 15,000-word dissertation.
