Professional Studies (English Literature)
Students will be actively involved in rigorous and intellectually challenging research projects in order to develop a critical appreciation of the nature of higher education research and delivery. The aim is to enable practitioners to reflect critically on their professional transition and dual role. It is anticipated that the resulting research project will form the basis of 1 or more publishable papers in the subject of English literature and/or educational practice.
It is anticipated that applicants will be graduates and will already be engaged in work within the profession.
Year 1: Conceptual and theoretical discourses. Year 2: Contemporary contextual issues. Year 3: Developmental considerations.
