Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
Successful applicants will have a 1st degree in a relevant subject (in modern languages, humanities, literature, linguistics, education) and have entry level training or experience of teaching. They will have an interest in becoming, or developing as, an ESOL teacher. For those who need to demonstrate proficiency in English, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent in all skills.
Modules include: English language learning and teaching; analysing language for TESOL; internship; specialist options; extended study (dissertation or professional portfolio).
