Coaching and Mentoring

The programme offers a study route that will enable students to develop both their practical skills in coaching and/or mentoring and their understanding of the theoretical perspectives that underpin good practice.

Entry requirements

For a typical offer, applicants will need: a good 1st degree 2.2 honours or above; to be engaged in paid or voluntary work (full or part time) where coaching and/or mentoring is or could be undertaken; English language level of IELTS 6.5 for international students. Non-standard applications are also welcome and careful consideration will be given to those who can present a case based on their career history, experience, and other learning.

Course modules

The course comprises of 2 modules: Advanced coaching and mentoring (30 credits); coaching and mentoring in practice (30 credits).
