Professional Studies (Sports Development)

This work-centred, project-based course provides students with the unique and valuable opportunity to explore shifts in their professional context while developing the skills to deal with them effectively. The course is both flexible and carefully structured, with each supervised project focusing on a clear theme related to your professional area. Throughout the course, students are supported with project templates which guide them on structure, content and the research process.

Entry requirements

It is generally anticipated that applicants will be 21 years of age or over, will be graduates and will already be engaged in work within the profession.

Course modules

Year 1: Conceptual and theoretical discourses. Year 2: Contemporary contextual issues. Year 3: Developmental considerations.
