Professional Enquiry in Education
This course enables students to contribute to the improvement of practice in their own education setting and the wider education community, through engaging in professional enquiry in their own work setting.
A minimum of a 2nd Class Honours degree (2.1 preferred) or equivalent in a relevant subject. Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant appropriate/relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply. Students on the programme must have access to /be employed in an appropriate work environment (e.g. a school).
The areas/topics that will be covered within the course will be: Advanced practice; developing leadership; individual professional enquiry; collaborative professional enquiry; school-based modules; online professional education network.
The course is currently in the process of being re-developed for academic year 15/16 and will be updated when more detail is available.
