Graduate Diploma in Business, Finance and Sport
A full-time academic programme, the Graduate Diploma incorporates English language skills, academic study skills, postgraduate research skills, subject-specific content and an understanding of the UK education system.
Pass in an undergraduate degree in any academic subject or diploma (3�5 years) with high grades in any academic subject. IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent for students whose 1st lsngusge is not English. If you do not meet the minimum academic English language requirements you can apply for our English for university study course.
The modules include: English for graduate study; academic skills and ICT for postgraduate study; extended project and research skills; empirical enquiry and critical though; management and organisation; quantitative methods in business and social sciences.
Assessment is both formal and informal. Assessment of your academic aptitude will be based on written assignments, group work, project work, presentations and examinations. You will also be required to submit a research project and extended dissertation. Assessment of your English language and communication skills will be based on written assignments, presentations, interviews and examinations.
For applicants commencing the Graduate Diploma programme in September 2015 or January 2016, we are offering a number of scholarships and bursaries valued up to �3,000 towards your tuition fees. The scholarships will be awarded on academic merit and students are required to complete a separate scholarship application form to apply.
