Biomedical Engineering

This is a multidisciplinary programme that combines knowledge of the physical and life sciences with advances in technology and engineering to generate applications and solutions to clinically relevant problems.

Course modules

You can study a degree in biomedical engineering within any of our three major research areas: Rehabilitation engineering; cell, tissue and organ engineering; medical diagnostic devices and instrumentations.

Assessment methods

Students undertake a research/development project, chosen from pool of relevant industrial or clinical projects, and submit thesis.
