Philosophy with Children

This course aims to train students to facilitate philosophical dialogue with children and with adults in a range of settings. The course is not just for teachers, it's for anyone that wants to lead people in the discussion of philosophical ideas.

Course modules

Compulsory modules: Introduction to philosophy and philosophical practice; philosophy with children theory; philosophy with children facilitation.

Assessment methods

There's a range of assessment used in the course, including practical elements, written essays, portfolios and a logic exam. You'll receive regular formative feedback and are given summative feedback in all assignments. There's also opportunities for one-to-one feedback sessions.
