Human Resources and International Management
Students will study the management challenges encountered by global organisations, with particular emphasis on attracting, managing and developing people. The programme brings together cutting-edge scholarship on global business management and international human resource management to provide a bespoke learning experience tailored to students looking to pursue senior roles that have a strong 'people management' element.
Compulsory modules: HRM in a business context; managing human resources in multinationals; comparative employment relations; labour and diversity in a global context; professional management practice; global business environment; managing across cultures; project. Elective modules: People resourcing; employment issues and the law; employee reward; business strategy; managing in Europe; leadership for change and innovation.
Work will be assessed through a combination of written assignments, exams, practical team and individual projects.
