Environmental Engineering

This course addresses the needs of urban development and regeneration, environmental protection, and infrastructure investment. The programme is suitable for graduates from engineering, earth sciences, environmental management or other relevant disciplines. The growth of cities makes increasing demands of environmental services for the protection and enhancement of human health and biodiversity. Students on this course learns how appropriate development can enhance and protect the natural and urban environment.

The Department of Civil Engineering/David Livingstone Centre for Sustainability at the University of Strathclyde offers fees-only Excellence Awards to UK/EU students; in addition, £1,000 Excellence Awards for overseas students are also available; the awards are allocated based on the quality of the student but applying early increases the chances of successful allocation.
