Nuclear Engineering

On the programme, Research Engineers spend over 75 per cent of their time onsite at their sponsoring company, meaning projects are both collaborative and innovative and focused on nuclear competence and expertise. It ensures that Research Engineers will be at home both in the laboratory and the boardroom. Above all it provides time that is commercially relevant to the student and commercially effective to the sponsoring company.

Entry requirements

MSc: 1st degree or other qualification equivalent to 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree from a UK university in engineering or physical science; PGDip/PG cert: normally a 1st degree, but other applicants are considered.
