Philosophy with Children

This course aims to train students to facilitate philosophical dialogue with children and with adults in a range of settings. The course is not just for teachers, it's for anyone that wants to lead people in the discussion of philosophical ideas.

Entry requirements

A degree level qualification. No prior experience of philosophy or education is required.

Course modules

Compulsory modules: module 1: introduction to philosophy and philosophical practice; module 2: philosophy with children theory; module 3: philosophy with children facilitation.

Assessment methods

There's a range of assessment used in the course, including practical elements, written essays, portfolios and a logic exam.
