The course enables students to combine different academic disciplines to examine perspectives on Scottish identity; includes core class, research methods programme and requires 30,000-word dissertation; students have extensive choice in dissertation topic and can access supervision from experienced staff in literature, history, politics, sociology, Gaelic, etc; seminar programmes run by Centre for Scottish Cultural Studies and the Research Centre in Scottish History are also available.
Good Honours degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
