The course assumes no prior knowledge or experience of information systems and is designed to allow you to apply existing skills and knowledge regardless of background; the course is also relevant if students have a computing or technology focused 1st degree and wish to develop complementary business and management skills or specialise in information management.
A good 1st degree equivalent to a 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree from a UK university; applicants whose 1st language is not English are normally required to have a TOEFL score of 600 (250 in computer based test); or IELTS score of 6.5.
Information systems architecture; database and web systems development; information retrieval and access; information law; business analytics; research methods; organisation of knowledge.
An individual research project on an approved topic, which allows students to pursue an area of specific interest, providing scope for original thought, research and presentation.
