Computer science underpins the construction, development and deployment of computer systems. This degree course will help you meet the challenges in designing software systems for mobile platforms. You will gain new skills in constructing mobile applications, including security and usability considerations, and have the opportunity to meet industry employers and participate in recruitment events. This course will provide the necessary qualifications for a skilled position in the computing industry.
All students are admitted as prospective MChem Honours students.The entry requirements differ depending on the course and are largely a reflection of whether the course carries single or dual professional accreditation. The grades specified should be understood as minimum entry requirements that may be raised at times of exceptional demand. If it is necessary to do this, the higher standard will be applied fairly to the complete applicant field in any given year.
