The course is for a diverse mix of students, with many different nationalities represented, ensuring an international and multicultural learning experience; on attainment of at least 3 years' postgraduate business experience, MBM graduates can convert their MBM studies to the Strathclyde MBA; the course provides a thorough introduction to management concepts, tools, functions and disciplines as well as an understanding of business policy and planning.
A 1st degree in a non-business related discipline or other qualification equivalent to an Honours degree from a UK university; high-potential candidates with business degrees may be considered for entry; a 250 TOEFL or 100 IBT test score for applicants whose 1st language is not English; satisfactory GMAT results may be required if qualification is from a non-UK institution.
Research areas include: Marketing and the supply chain; services marketing, B2B marketing and relationship marketing; strategic marketing; consumer culture.
