Human Resource Management
Research interests fall into 2 broad areas: work and organisation, and employee resourcing and representation; existing areas of doctoral research cover a range of topics within human resource management, including emotional intelligence and leadership, soft skills deficits, knowledge management, aesthetic labour and social exclusion and the effect of the European Working Time Directive; students must complete the research methodology programme which is run by the Business School as a whole.
